    ************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

  2. To disable Just-In-Time debugging by editing the registry

In the Start menu, click Run.

In the Run dialog box, type regedit, then click OK.

In the Registry Editor window, locate and delete the follow registry keys:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AeDebug\Debugger

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework\DbgManagedDebugger

If your computer is running a 64-bit operating system, delete the following registry keys also:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AeDebug\Debugger

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\.NETFramework\DbgManagedDebugger

Take care not to accidentally delete or change any other registry keys.

    Close the Registy Editor window.

    • Hey i want to enable JIT debugging like Deepjyothi. You have given the steps to disable JIT debugging.

How do I enable it in Windows XP so that I can run a software that is throwing up this error.

      Thanks for your help

      • To enable/disable Just-In-Time debugging

        1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
        2. In the Options dialog box, select the Debugging folder.
        3. In the Debugging folder, select the Just-In-Time page.
        4. In the Enable Just-In-Time debugging of these types of code box, select or clear the relevant program types: Managed, Native, or Script.
  3. Go to start and type regedit.exe.
    Delete the following keys:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AeDebug\Debugger
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework\DbgManagedDebugger
If you use a 64-bit machine, please delete the following keys:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AeDebug\Debugger
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\.NETFramework\DbgManagedDebugger

    That should be it

  4. is this thread still active? i hope so as i have a big problem with my current OS :(

and does this also apply to Win Server 2003 SE (standard edition) 32-bit?

though i read the procedure or steps well but i didn’t see the WGA which (correct me if i’m wrong) is usually in the lower corner-right part or just above the taskbar ..

what can i see from my taskbar is the Key-icon that are constantly have a countdown from 30-days Left for Activation, and now it’s down to 17-days Left for Activation.

this is my problem now how to get rid of this … i mean is their a process to disable so my OS will be locked-up??

    thanks:)
